This was a great conclusion to the series. Penryn and Raffe had such a great chemistry. I thunk the ending might have been a little rushed but it was still great.

This book series was surprisingly gory but also boring. I did really enjoy some moments, though, and the romance was nice.
Amazing end to the trilogy! I can't wait to read more by Susan Ee, if she ever writes more. Also, although I haven't read many trilogies, I'm sure this is my favourite one :)
2 1/2 ⭐️ Man. I’m so sad I didn’t love this. Everything ended up where I was hoping it would, and other than how abruptly it ended, I was OK with the resolution of the overall story arc. It’s just that I kind of counted on feeling more invested during the journey. I still loved Raffe and Penryn, but the connection between them wasn’t as convincing as in Angelfall. Where was the chemistry and the angst of forbidden love? The few moments of intimacy were just king of meh. It’s sucks because the series started off so strong and had so much potential.
ugh, I hate that we don't get any info about why everything happened to begging with, or why is Penryn family so special... and why is Michael absent all these books? this is such a bad last book.
This was an okay conclusion to the series. I liked it, but somehow it was missing that little extra something to make it fantastic. I think everything ended up feeling rushed at the end. Conversations that needed to happen didn't. Character demises came up suddenly and felt anticlimactic for the roles they played in the series. I just... I liked pretty much everything up until the end, which fell flat for me. But I still enjoyed the series overall. The characters are great, and there are some good horror elements, but not nearly enough for my tastes. I probably wouldn't mind re-reading this someday, but I think the first book was probably my favorite of the 3.
I had a lot of difficulty getting into this book and I don't think that should really happen in a third and final book in a series. But about half way through I did get hooked. I have enjoyed reading about Penryn and Raffe's angsty romance and am happy I was able to finish the series. I do wish the entire final book was a bit more.... just a bit more.
an epic conclusion to probably the best angel series I've ever read
