Brandon Sanderson is quickly becoming my favorite author, I sacrificed sleep to read this in one day, and going to pick up the second one tomorrow. You need to read this if you love science fiction/fantasy, it was incredible!

What a blast! Had a great time reading. Very fast paced, especially coming off Oathbringer before this. Major props to the audiobook narrator who does a great job selling some of the cringey teenage dialogue that I would have absolutely read in a Brandon Sanderson voice were it not for her convincing performance. Thankfully her voice was in my head when I was reading and it worked great.

I loved this book. I usually don't expect such depth from YA, just to avoid disappointment, but this was pretty great while still being fun and enjoyable. The characters are interesting, takes a little  while to understand why they do what they do but when you find out, it all makes sense. Also, this is one of the few Sanderson books I've read where he kills off many characters we like and are attached to in the first book of the series. Usually he's pretty protective of the characters we love.

Will get the rest of the released books and keep reading the series. It was pretty awesome. I already have theories buzzing  in my head and I need answers.
