Pros:

Krennic’s beef with Jyn and Lyra is funny
Krennic speaks fluent bug
Imperials messing with each other in interest of career advancement is fun to read, though it’s minimal in the grand scheme

Cons:

Slow and at times overly detailed with the science. Did not make for a compelling read
More of a slog than I would have liked. Scenes that needed the juice (thrust, suspense, anything) were few and far between.
I still have a hard time reading Galen. He seemed a little too eager to be brainwashed - I would have liked more time spent on him. Lyra and Krennic were very believable but he was not.

Pretty enjoyable, satisfied the post-Andor depression. Adds a lot of depth to Orson Krennic and his obsession with Galen. Kind of wish it had covered their reunion / Galen’s years alone / deciding how to sabotage the Death Star.
