“she pushed up onto her toes, pressed her forehead against his, in the way he always did to her. she wished she could take half of it from him, the hurt. take half of everything bad, leave room for some good.” crying, absolutely loved this trilogy.

The messiest of the three but huge swaths of story legitimately blew me away. There was one loose end left over from book one that I really expected to come back at some point and it just never did which is disappointing.

I really like this installment. It starts of slow with Pip dealing with her trauma and starting to suspect she is being stalked; this part is a little jarring as it's very heavy and repetitive, but near the middle, the book speeds up and damn... It is the perfect circular ending to this series.

I was wondering what could possible happen after
Pip escapes from Jason
around the middle of the book but I was pleasantly surprised.
