that was a wild ride omg. the first half had me genuinely scared. you could really feel pip’s decent into paranoia, anxiety, and panic. the tone of the book was very haunting. now the second half… that was batshit crazy what the hell. where did the plot go how did we get here 😭 i loved it though, my favorite out of the trilogy me thinks. you will be hearing back from me ms. holly!

I thought i ruined the whole book for myself like 30% in because i searched up a character and turned out they were the bad guy... so i was like oh god, now i'm going to have to read it until 90% when you usually find out everything, so was worried i was going to hate the rest of the book . However!! we find out a lot lot earlier and for the rest of the book i had no idea what was going to happen. I have always loved this book series, it being one of my favourites.

I was not expecting this, like holy shit it really is A Good Girls Guide To Murder. Like the way it was done was so brilliant because Pip just knew how to go about it so perfectly. I know a lot of people are hating it because one of their fav characters literally murders someone. However i think the lead up to it happening made what she did less shocking, for me anyway. Because i think from everything thats happened to her it really showed how much it messed her up, showing a difference between Pip who just loves true crime, listens to podcast, researching into murders etc to Pip who actually experiences it first hand with seeing someone being shot, and i think a lot of people underestimate how that would truly effect you. And then she gets bloody kidnapped for god sake and realises this one person has created this butterfly affect of all these terrible things. The only thing i didn't like was the ending of how she separates her self from her family and friends. ESPECIALLY Ravi. Because i think even if Max didn't get found guilty, I still don't think the police would of found any evidence of her being the murderer. But I do think that DI Hawkins had a suspicion but for some reason didn't want to look any further into it.
