Wish I had time to review this more thoughtfully. This is avant-garde fiction that is thought-provoking, playful, and (all-importantly, in my view) maintains enough of a narrative thread to be enjoyably read rather than trudged through dutifully.

Weirdest book I’ve ever read. Would’ve been 5 stars but the final part is pretty abysmal. But the middle section is some of my favourite writing I’ve ever read.

You might like this if you're a young teen who can't yet tell the difference between pretentious and poignant. Also if you have a high tolerance for "she breasted boobily down the stairs" male narrations. I don't.

I’ve read it half way but it’s just too too weird and I’m not sure I’m enjoying really.
