An action packed adventure story based on Bangladeshi mythology. Perfect for those who like the Rick Riordan series...but to be honest I liked this one better.

Oh my Nokley! This was fantastic! I'm starting the next book this afternoon and, I noticed this last night, there's another first book that seems to be in the same universe (based on the series title) that just came out earlier this month! I can't wait and I know nothing about the book outside of the author, title, and series title! Hahaha!

It is amazing! Even though Kiran was a bit thick when it came to Neel. The Rokkush Queen’s redemption arc was amazing! Although I am kind of annoying Ai-Ma died. It is amazing overall, from the new characters like Naya, to the old friends like Mati. The only thing I think could be changed was maybe some kind of explanation of how Lalkamal was replaced with a ghost version of him, other than that it was amazing! And I can’t wait to get The Chaos Curse!

I love the idea of this book, but sometimes it's hard to read. Without a background history of the myths, it's hard to follow. Also, Kiran is so wishy-washy at times that it's painful. That being said, I am going to finish the series as I do enjoy the sort of fantasy world it encompasses.

This was a more enjoyable read than the first book! "Game of Stars" was more intense, and Dasgupta gives more time to different characters other than the girl whose point of view we have been following.
Without spoiling anything, "Game of Stars" is a mix-and-match of science and Bengali folktales, with many crazy characters and I LOVE IT! Dasgupta has such a calm, collected and funny way of writing which can hold your attention for a good time!
I am unsure how I am going to rate this, it is better than the first book, but something is lacking for me to give it a 4 star, so I am going to give it a 3.5 for now because once again: wonderful introduction to characters, places and an interesting story to tell!
