Really great information and definitely something I would recommend to clients. I am interested to see what gets added in the update coming out later this month. I also hear the author is coming out with a workbook which is totally what this book needs. My favorite parts were the pillars, mantras, intention vs. impact, avoidance as a missed train metaphor, and poodle science. A really great book club pick for the “What’s My Therapist Reading” Book Club.

This book is a SUPER FAST audiobook read. I definitely reread the whole thing in a day.

I will try again with the print edition but the vaguely slam poetry style of reading she's doing here is absolutely not something I enjoy even slightly

Firm and Kind

Sonya gets it because she has lived it. This is one of my new pursuits, to stop hating the body I reside in, and I profoundly appreciated the words, anecdotes, and love shared here.

I found this book to be thought-provoking and bold. Just what I like! Because I listened while driving though, I found I wanted more time to ponder the thoughtful questions. I also think I would like to see it in print to let some of it sink in and to be able to journal with it. I will re-read for sure. Overall thumbs up!
