I read this book as a kid, and have read it a few times since then. I've also seen the movie a million times as well. It has been and always will be on of my favorites.

This was the book that made me fall in love with books. I had read other books before this that I quite liked and many after that I liked but this book has stuck with me through all my years. At a time in my life when I felt small and foolish, Mrs. Frisby seemed like the perfect heroine. Equally small and fearful, she and her children and the rats taught me to be brave, face my fears and find a safe place.

I remember loving this and reading it over and over when I was in elementary school. I need to read it again soon and relive the whimsicalness of it :)

I love this movie and the book is good too. I really liked reading about these mysterious rats with a secret past and electricity in their rose bush.

ms frisby you’d better figure out if justin is alive bc you need to Lock Him Down

I know one of my teachers read this to our class but I never read the whole thing. It was still delightful 40 years later.

Read aloud to Graham. It’s good writing. Newberry winner, so hard to go wrong.

This was a fun little book about a mouse with a problem and some genetically modified rats. Engaging storytelling for children of all ages!

I read this book as a kid and ADORED it. I was excited to share this with my son. He seemed to really like it as well.
It's a sweet story.
