Very easy read and good translation. The descriptions and sarcasm reminded me of Tolkien with a dark twist on Grimm’s Faerie Tales. For those coming at this series from the games and TV show... the story base is the same but the story itself varies greatly. Absolutely worth the read. It’s very entertaining.

I was a little disappointed by the obvious ties to Grimm’s Faerie Tales simply because there are already so many retellings. Thankfully, this does a good job of keeping with its main plot line- which is Geralt (who has no real character development and is more the dark brooding type).

This was disappointing and confusing but still kinda good

4 stars!

Short stories aren’t my thing unfortunately, so reading this was quite a challenge. What I liked was how to the point and simple it was to get into the flow of the story and understand what was happening!

Читается относительно легко, но фрагментированность истории отталкивает от полного погружения в литературную франшизу
