Ce premier tome de la série est structuré comme un recueil de plusieurs aventures de Geralt avec une trame de fond. J’ai trouvé difficile de replacer les histoires dans l’ordre chronologique, mais j’ai bien aimé celles qui racontent l’origine de son lien avec Ciri et Yennefer!

Like everyone else I have been seeing The Witcher advertised all over the TV and have been intreated by him and the story. I am a firm believer that the books are generally better than the film/programme so I thought I would get a copy of this first and see what all the fuss was about.
I really enjoyed it, it not what I was expecting at all. This is a collection of short stories about Geralt of Rivia (The Witcher) the blurb says "He is a cunning sorcerer. A merciless assassin." but these stories whilst full of gore in place were also very funny and easy to read. I will definitely be moving on to the next book and the programme at some point.
