Like everyone else I have been seeing The Witcher advertised all over the TV and have been intreated by him and the story. I am a firm believer that the books are generally better than the film/programme so I thought I would get a copy of this first and see what all the fuss was about.
I really enjoyed it, it not what I was expecting at all. This is a collection of short stories about Geralt of Rivia (The Witcher) the blurb says "He is a cunning sorcerer. A merciless assassin." but these stories whilst full of gore in place were also very funny and easy to read. I will definitely be moving on to the next book and the programme at some point.

This definitely needs a lot more attention when reading i found myself rereading and going back and getting lost

my first ever dive into deep fantasy and i chose those series because im watching the show. the book definitely made way more sense than the 1st season of the show imo but also was kinda more boring? still a lot of action and i liked it but i was also a little (lot) confused sometimes. still pretty fun can’t wait to read more!!!
