The style was unique - I don’t know if it fit my taste. The relations between both characters seemed a little rushed, but I liked it overall.

Placing the series on hold for now. I finished this volume but I don't think I'll pick up the second anytime soon. It is an interesting concept but it feels like there isn't much going on. Could be that the author wanted a slower build up or something else.

“Call of the Night” starts with an intriguing premise and a fun spin on vampire mythology. When human insomniac Ko meets vampire Nazuna, he thinks he’s found a way to enjoy the night forever. The only catch is vampirism only happens to humans in love with vampires. What’s a boy to do but follow Nazuna around and try to awkwardly stumble into romance. The real charm comes from the fact both our protagonists are equally inexperienced in the romantic department. Volume 1 sets up what could easily be a cute romance with a supernatural twist. Ready to start the next volume!
