I really enjoyed this book! It hooked me from the start and I couldn't stop reading! I've always been amazed at symbology as a whole anyway and this just fed that amazement.
I have, however, only given it 4/5 stars though. This is because the whole book is the span of ONE day... And that's where I was left a little puzzled. From all the rushing around, the intensity of the story and different characters perspectives, I couldn't help but feel lost in a whirlpool of time.
All in all though, a good read.

A promising plot and the facts are so fun - wish I could retain them! My fave kind of mystery book is with logical puzzles so this hit the spot. However can tell it was written by a man, he had to disappoint from time to time :/ the description of the only female character is a joke and the ending provided an enormous eye roll!
I'm sorry, but is Vittoria almost the same person as the main girl in [b:Deception Point|976|Deception Point|Dan Brown|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1386924347s/976.jpg|3135896]? I was disappointed, to be honest. I'd heard that Angels and Demons was better than [b:The Da Vinci Code|968|The Da Vinci Code (Robert Langdon, #2)|Dan Brown|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1303252999s/968.jpg|2982101]. As a book, I think both Deception Point and [b:Digital Fortress|11125|Digital Fortress|Dan Brown|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1360095966s/11125.jpg|40195] are better than the "Robert Langdon" books.
After reading this though, I suddenly understand why Daddy wanted to see the Castel Sant' Angelo. Their scurrying around Rome sounded a lot like our trip there, haha.
