I found this really difficult to rate. Because whilst I didn’t love the book, i didn’t actively dislike it either. It did feel very slow/ like not much happened despite there being “trials” and I felt like I did guess some of the twists. But saying this, I did find the premise of the book interesting, and I did vouch for certain characters. It’s really difficult because I don’t want to rate it low but I also wasn’t really invested in it.

This was an extremely slow book in the beginning. I can see how anyone could easily give up on the story, but I am glad I continued on. I loved how the story came together, but it took way too long to get there. The story didn't wrap together until the last 100 pages. The ending is leaving me wanting more, but don't know if it will be as slow as this book... to continue or not to continue ....
