Not my jam.
It was too insta love and I'm mad how she just dropped her friends the moment she started to get dicked down. I won't be reading the next one unfortunately.

Enjoyed the start to this duet, felt like it was a little rushed. Would have loved a bit more of a slower build up but that’s just personal preference. I loved how strong Briar was, loved the dynamic between the boys.

I like the idea of the plot in this book. Briar, Hunter, Samson, Ledger, and Ash are all good characters. I just feel one minute they were bullying her, then they wanted her. I just thought there was going to be more build up. Overall, a good book

This was def not a super well written book. Plot was lacking along with characters in general. But let’s be real, I read this for a quick smutty read. Overall, it was meh. I’ll read the second just to finish out the duet.

Briar’s mom got remarried so she moves into her new stepdad’s house where she meets her stepbrother Hunter. She quickly gains his attention along with his three friends, ledger, Samson, and Ash. She’s learning how to trust her own intuition and desires again after being attacked in California.

—the book just moves way too quickly. There’s very little character development.
