Wow. I don't even know where to start.
I loved every minute of this book!
Briar has been through an ordeal, and starting over in a new town, and new school, is a fresh start.
Then she meets the 'Kings'.
Hunter, Ledger, Ash, and Samson.
The 4 guys everyone else avoids/is afraid of. But not briar.
She stands her ground against them all, and that's really great to see.. especially after what she went through.
It's great to see a female lead that's been through trauma being that outwardly strong and going head to head with intimidating male characters, refusing to bend or break. I love her.
The guys have a bully reputation, but not everything is as it seems. I love seeing them as bullies in everyone else's eyes, but then seeing how they each are with Briar.
They all have an intense desire to protect her... among other things

Briar Monroe, Hunter Ravenwood, Ash Greythorn, Ledger Huxley, Samson Hall.
The premise of this story was promising, but the execution was juvenile and sloppy. There was no emotional connection between Briar and the boys. Things happened way too fast. I don’t understand why they like her, vice versa. How is she that special? I’m intrigued by the parental figures who seem evil. There was no subtlety or nuance to this book. There was a lot of telling and not a lot of showing. I was underwhelmed.

It says that the book doesn't end on a cliff hanger, but leaves a lot of questions unanswered. The reason is because it cuts off literally in the middle of the rirsing action of the plot. We started with background and character development. All was good. Good start to a bully romance. Then, we dive into some relationship building between the FMC and the boys. Then, the problem is introduced in the last 50 pages of the book. I'm not saying the story is bad, I'm just wondering who made the choice to break this into two separate books? It wasn't that long of a book.
This is a high school 'bully' reverse harem. The bullying is super light compared to some of the other insanity I've read. I think the boys call it quits after the second incident. There's no slow-burn or true enemies to lovers. The boys are all down bad within the first week of meeting her. Of course, I'm continuing... I'm just annoyed that I have to download a whole other book.

Decent, kept me interested enough to read the second. Characters were a bit flat and the plot was unrealistic, but that’s pretty much what I expected from a high school RH novel
Fast paced RH. Pretty good read, I will say though that the H is far too trusting and too quick to trust with her trauma and past. That was the most unrealistic aspect for me, but other than that, kept me interested. It is NOT a bully book. There is very minor bully aspects at first.

Decent story with lots of spice. Granted the spice is the reason I read it. Lol!
The more the merrier I guess and Ms. Amanda Richardson‘s way of writing spice >>>>>>>>>
