This was not what I was expecting, but I loved it.
I loved the world building and I love that the strong female character can be strong without being obnoxiously rude. I didn’t realize I would enjoy this as much as I. Definitely recommend this book.

Pretty much hated this one. There was zero chemistry between the alpha and omega - it just read like a how-to guide for stockholm's syndrome. Super noncon, but in a "No, don't" but she orgasms anyway situation. yuck.
Ok.
There were quite a few aspects of this omega verse story that I didn’t like but overall, it kept my attention!

I love this series, and this book was fun. It is my least favorite in the series though; because it really leans into the age-gap romance, plays up the innocence of the fmc, and manipulative characteristics in the mmc. If you like age-gap super smutty romances, especially of the omegaverse variety, then you will love this one.
Unexpected but amazing story with a Cinderella twist so HEA expected.

So, I finally figured out why this book bothered me so very very much. Let me lay it out for you guys, and hopefully save a few potential readers from also being triggered by this book.
Our FMC was raised in an abusive home.
She is small and delicate.
She is very very innocent, except the sex she was encouraged to have by the program directors. (By the way I also now really dislike the word "healthy".)
Once she is in his home she has no responsivities to take care of anything. In many ways she isn't even a real person by this point.
Her hobbies are reading, drawing, nesting, and sitting on this large dude's (who let us not forget, "conditioned" her to accept him) lap.
LV Lane wrote the ultimate pedophile's dream story. I am horrified I read this. Yes yes, enough was included to make it able to pass under the radar, to make it justifiable. But that is all just a thin veneer of "acceptable" for a mainstream audience. If I had known, if I had any warning, I could have just passed this over and been fine. Anyone who reads this and likes it, that is fine. I just can't, and I wish I hadn't. And I haven't even said anything much about the body horror parts, or the force feeding of semen. I am really surprised LV stopped where he (or potentially she I guess) did and didn't just have his MMC bathe our FMC in his semen. Just washed it all over her and rub it in like lotion. It would have been the logical next step. Semen lotion and conditioner to make it just extra squicky. I thought I was nauseated by the very enthusiastic descriptions of "slick" that many other A/O books have, but this was just so much worse.
Please, if you feel you need to "justify" this, don't. You are allowed to like what you like for any reason as long as real, physical people are not being harmed. But this book is really just not for everyone, and it was not for me and I wish I had had a warning about it.
