Loved it

Really good can't wait to read the next one! What will Sadie and Carter lane do next? Also this is bringing back my childhood obsession with all things egypt.

While I didn't enjoy this as much as the first in the series, I'll always enjoy a Rick Riordan story. Carter and Sadie are amazing characters and I love the back and forth storytelling style that these two have. The additions of Bes and Walt are really what kept the story going for me, and I'm very interested to see what is in store in the final installment of The Kane Chronicles for them and our Kane siblings.

Of course it’s 5 stars!!!! I really love the characters in this series and learning more about them, their backgrounds and the different magic types. This plot was fast-paced with lots of different quests and adventures throughout! Of course the fate of the world is left in the hands of kids once again, what’s new?! I can’t wait to see how the trilogy wraps up.

Loving the continuation of this series. We immediately kick off the story being thrown into the plot as Carter and Sadie are attempting to "borrow" and ancient Egyptian artifact from a museum. As usual with a Riordan story, we hit the ground running and the action doesn't ever stop. We travel all over the globe again as the Kanes attempt to stop Apophis from rising, but this time we have new gods and mortals assisting (and attempting to thwart) the siblings. Really love the found family aspect of this story but as always, the mythology aspects continue to shine for me.
