A lot of this book is centered on the sales occupation. Not what I was expecting. Some great points and advice but there was some advice that I found alarming.
From the onset, No Excuses! lives up to its title. It's actually a little bit off-putting to start because you don't want to accept what is being recommended as factual. Yet, Tracy manages to come at each bold statement with a number examples that you could apply to your own life and see where the truth lies.
It covers a few too many categories for one book, feeling somewhat unfocused at times, but it's well done nonetheless.

The thing with Brian Tracy is that he gives you the same things sited in many other books, but his touch makes it so much different, makes it enjoyable and engaging;
Brian's Motto throughout the book was "Take actions and take it now!"
This book covers :
- Setting goals - Mind storming Technique
- Ways of being more focused and effective
- Ways of avoiding procrastination - Taking action
- Ways of applying self discipline in relationships
This book is worth a read;
Easy read!

Brian's No Excuses lays out a specific plan to accomplishing what you want to achieve in life, professionally and personally. For some it can be a challenge to read because he does provide answers, step by step. But that is the point of this book. Getting you where you want to be, step by step.
It was just regurgitating the same phrases over and over and not actually giving advice.

This book is basically "Just do it" written 200 times over and over again, but it isn't repetitive in doing so, and I really liked it.
The first and second parts, about personal and business life, are pretty generic and can be found anywhere, in my humble opinion. The next part about life as a parent and a friend contained some novel bits though, I liked it. I leave you with a particularly good piece of advice from the book.
"Resolve that, from now on, when people leave your presence, they will feel much better than they did when they entered your presence."
