I was determined to finish this audiobook, and I did. I wouldn't say that I heard anything that I hadn't heard or read in some form or fashion before. However, I think this was a great book for this TIME in my life. There are things that I've had on my "list", and just in the time of listening to this book, one of those items/goals has come to fruition. I think the notion of writing down goals everyday is awesome, and I've started that. Now, I just need to be consistent and keep it going. So, if you need a little kick in the tush to start doing something, this is a good kick. ;)

I listened to the audio version. I thought that most of the book is somehow interesting. And for sure it brings up a lot of thought-provoking statements and questions when it comes to motivate yourself to work efficiently or to finally reach your health goals, etc.
But some of the ideas, especially out of the relationship chapter, where seriously putting me off. I totally agree with the author that a good relationship is something we shouldn't take for granted and it needs lots of constant effort to keep functioning. But this book was written in 2011 so I think we could surely move away from old stereotypes like men and women are made to complement each other.
Also multitasking is not something humans are really good at no matter the gender. Actually it's just quick switching from one task to another and it puts the person under quite an amount of stress.
And what is this advice to not spend time alone with another person as your partner to avoid a situation that could lead to cheating. This is so incredibly antiquated.

If I could recommend only one book from this genre, it would undoubtedly be this one. It covers nearly every aspect of life, offering valuable insights and thought-provoking ideas. What I really loved were the actionable tasks at the end of each chapter, which help readers take immediate steps toward improvement. This book is absolutely 5-star material and a must-read for anyone looking to enhance their life.

What a let down. The author's main message is that you're not successful because you don't dedicate your every waking hour to working. His advice includes, going to work before everyone else and leaving after everyone else. Terrible advice that isn't applicable to so many people and is detrimental to your health. He offers no real exercises to help you develop your self discipline and it feels like the whole time he's yelling at you. Awful book.
It's a pretty decent read. I found the advice in the book to pretty solid and wide ranging. However, the one caveat is that most of the work advice that Tracy gives seems very oriented towards people who work in more traditional office-type jobs and especially for people in sales. That said, if you're the kind of person who willing reads these types of books, then you're probably smart enough to figure out how to adapt those concepts to your own circumstances.
