Solid first issue, hope to get some more characterization and it’s not cliche. So far Robin is mysterious and all about fighting while superboy is calmer and very kid like. The artwork is good too, Robins facial expressions are funny.

"Just climb on and piggyback -- I'll leap across."
"Rest assured, you will never find me piggybacking on your narrow shoulders. I've managed to move across cities and landscapes without your assistance long before you had an "S" on your chest."

HA. This is awesome. The son of Batman and the son of Superman fighting crime together.

This was only the first issue, so it's hard to really form an opinion on the whole story, but I think it could be great. Jonathan and Damian are just so like their fathers and so that dynamic really, really works -- even more so, with Damian having his short temper and arrogant attitude turned up to a thousand. You can tell Jon wants to be a superhero in his own right, and it just so happens that Damian encourages his rebellious side and basically gets him into a lot of trouble.

I really, really can't wait to read more in the series.

This is just pure fun. It's cute, it's a bit fluffy, it's got Damian being a little shit and Jonno being adorable. I really need to catch up on the Superman and Batman series to figure a few things out, but nothing that really detracted me from how much I enjoyed it.

As others have said, I may have looked at this in a biased light - but I adored it.
Damian is one of my favourite Robins (obviously, tied with Dick Grayson) so when I discovered this series through Pinterest, I knew I had to get it.

The art style is so incredible, the family resemblances obvious in both art and writing. The story was also amusing and I can't wait be to spectator to the growth in the friendship between Damian and Jon (despite how in denial they may be).
It's just one of those comics that makes you feel good and happy, it doesn't need no "point" to it, as such. It doesn't need no big war or message to it. It's simply about character growth in two young boys who have high expectations to live up to - and I think that's great.

I also found it so hilarious, the wit of the two boys is clear. However, one of my favourite lines came from Kid Amazo - and I also feel it sums up the boys pretty well:
"You two look like Superman and Batman got married and had twins".

They're more alike than they think.

YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*screams* YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Dudes, fuck yes, this is exactly what I was feeling. Superboy with his super together and "normal" family to Robin's dysfunctional family dynamics, that Scorpius/Albus (Harry Potter/Cursed Child) kind of reckless but cute FRIENDSHIP with the WE KNOW WHAT WE'RE DOING BUT NOT REALLY HAHA WHATEVER jUST fuck me up, son, I'm ready.
