Was this well written? No. Is the author problematic? Heck yeah. Was this a mess? Definitely. So many elements of this were cringe and cliche, but somehow I was still thoroughly entertained and am interested to see where the plot goes. Also, Dain sucks.

Violet is forced by her mother to become a dragon rider. Violet is small and ‘fragile’ and target number one because of who her family are.
All the training and life threatening tests she is put through Violet finally bonds with a dragon but the downer is she is connected to the gorgeous, badass wing leader who hates her with a passion.
Oh my god, I definitely see what all the hype is about! I completed this book in one day and it easily has become one of my favourite books.
What’s not to love? Dragons, violence, banter, determined female character, handsome moody male role, sex and so much more.
Book two is needed right now!

super predictable, cliche, and almost laughably poorly written at times but i can’t lie, this shit had me giggling and kicking my feet……. what can i say, im just a girl. good for vacation, nothing groundbreaking but easy to follow and entertaining
