I loved the author's voice, which is what convinced me to buy the book after reading the sample. Once I got the book, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of depth in the writing advice given. It also frustrated me that the author's gimmick of inserting imagined dialogue between the Bully and the Muse was done in graphics, meaning I couldn't highlight them on my Kindle. Sometimes the Muse had really good things to say. If you're looking a first writing book, this would be a good book for the newbie writer.

This wasn't what I was looking for (I wanted more exercises / plans), but it's for you if you need a pep talk on your imposter syndrome and a brief look into publishing your work.

A little corny but it does the job.
