Was a very interesting book. Pulled me in right away and had many moments where you thought you knew what was going to happen but it made you think otherwise. Really well written and ended up liking it more than I thought I would

I think the problem is reading this book so soon after reading Good As Gone and She's Not There, another book of a missing girl returning. Just from the book blurb I assumed correctly what the "twist" would be.

I'm loving Cat Clarke. Like, seriously loving. She writes the kinda books I wish I could read nonstop forever. I can't say I didn't predict the ending pretty early on but seeing it all play out was gripping. Really unsettling and heart-breaking.
This is a captivating story about the sister of a girl who was abducted at age 6 and returned 13 years later. Faith tells the story of how her life had been changed by her sister Laurel's abduction and how it is changed once again when Laurel is returned. There is mystery, intrigue and plot twists in this sad story.

Laurel Logan was abducted 13 years ago and mysteriously returns home. The story is told through the point of view of Faith, her younger sister that doesn't remember life with Laurel. A fast-paced YA mystery. I liked it but it was predictable with the slight twist at the end that I did not expect. If I didn't already see the Law and Order episode that was just like this, maybe it would have been different.
OMG I read this book in one day straight, it was amazing and I loved it ❤️
