This has an interesting premise & I’m always down for a friends-to-lovers romance. This book was a quick, fun read. I wasn’t that crazy about the characters, I think Addie was a bit overdone as “one of the guys” & I didn’t really appreciate the way Tucker seemed shocked to realize she was a girl only after she wore a dress & sandals. They were cute together though & I liked their friend group & Addie making friends with Shep’s fiancée. Overall, it was a decent book, if a little dated, I wouldn’t mind reading the next one.

I really enjoyed the relationships between the group & adored the one that blossomed between Addie & Tucker. To see so much history turn into true love was pretty awesome. The story of two best friends trying to find their footing as a couple in a group was emotional & hilarious roller coaster.

Honest confession: I didn't expect to like this as much as I did. Romance novels are a great break and I usually use them as a kind of palate cleanser. I picked this one up on sale and decided to read it on a whim.

Man, that has been one of the best decisions I've made in a while!

I love tomboy characters (being one myself) so I knew I would enjoy reading this but I had no idea HOW MUCH I would enjoy it. It was wonderful. I love Addie and Tucker's whole group of friends. They're distinct but mesh well together. And Lexie seemed to slot right in. The will-they-won't-they tension between Tucker and Addie worked beautifully. It was just right. I never once felt like the pacing was off. The flow kept me turning page after page.

Watching Addie flourish was a magical thing, too. It was subtle and understated and perfect for the atmosphere and her character. She bloomed more than had an arc; it was so heartwarming. And that's really what I was left with after finishing the story: warmth and a smile.

I cannot wait to see more of these characters. I'm particularly intrigued by Easton but I'd happily read Ford's story, too!

I have enjoyed every Cindi Madsen book I have read and "Just One of the Groomsmen" was no different. I absolutely loved this book! I liked that it was told through both Addie and Tucker's perspectives. It really helped add depth to the story. I also liked that they had a solid friend group who had been friends forever. I enjoyed Lexi and Addie's friendship as well. It was fun to see Addie change from total tomboy to someone with a girly side as well! I would love for this to turn into a series - maybe to see Easton and Ford find love as well?

I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun friends to lovers story! This was one of my favorite reads of 2019. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this free ARC!

At least half of why I requested the ARC of this title had to do with the cover. It is so cute and vibrant and reminded me of another book (also about a wedding) that I loved. I had never heard of this author, but this will certainly not be the last book I read by her. I was delighted with this book within the first few pages, and it only got better as it went on, overall.

Addison (Addie) has unequivocally always been one of the guys (a set-up in fiction that isn't always enjoyable to read, for me). The extent to which she is "one of the guys" is so intense that she doesn't really have any female friends, and she doesn't relate extremely well to other women including her sister. The story starts off with one of the guys in her close-knit group of friends announcing his engagement and another of the guys (who Addie has always been closest to) moving back home to their small town.

I love stories when you know what will happen but not how the characters will get there, and that's what happens here. I love knowing how each character is feeling before they have shared those feelings with one another. This is part of the fun of reading!!

The setting is quite important in this novel, and I look forward to revisiting it in future books because small-town craziness in which everyone is in your business is just funny and endearing when done well.

I loved Tucker and Addie's history, and their chemistry was great. The ending was predictable but wonderful and I loved the epilogue. This book was better than I was expecting and I don't hesitate to recommend it as a fun summer read if you like contemporary romance.

Thank you to Netgalley and Entangled for the ARC of this cute romantic comedy in exchange for an honest review.

This was more like 3.5 stars for me - I really enjoyed it but wanted just a little bit MORE in some places. Maybe more about the overall friendships or townsfolk? Just a few more details.
