Oh Addie...

what a story, what a book. My first ever Schwab read and I think I started with a good one ;)
Magical, sad, lovely, a mixture of all emotions. Definately on my top 10 list of books I've read this year!

This book took me a minute to get through, but once I made it to the end I was happy I stuck it out. A great story with a good twist in the middle and an even better one at the end. Poor Addie - I won’t forget you!

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Depression
Violence

I need to stay away from Booktok. They keep hyping up every book I want to read, so much that when I finally pick it up it sucks because my expectations were too high. This is one of those books. It could have been so much more captivating if I wasn't bored to death now and then. It's not the story (which was perfect), but rather the disappointment after finding out that it's just another book. And by the way, I prefer Luc over Henry, the only character that made this book bearable.
