I love it
I LOVE IT!!!!
It's a bit slow but every single story (the past and the present) is needed and doesn't feel too much.
It took me almost a week to finished because there's so much to take in and I didn't think I could take too much at a time.
I dashed through the last chapters tho when Addie, Luc and Henry met the first time.

I like the growth of Addie. Her complicated relationship with Luc. Her short-lived happiness with Henry.
And I like the ending. How Addie is actually still making plans on escaping Luc. I wonder the dynamic of their relationship. Does Luc really love Addie? I actually didn't expect them to be involved romantially but I'm going to pretend that Luc's feeling is real 🙂

This has been sitting on my shelf for years, ever since it first did the rounds as a “must read”. I’ve finally read it and it quickly became one of the best books I’ve read in my life. This is a story that I will come back to again and again, and I will recommend to anyone and everyone.
