I'd never read New Adult before...light and fluffy and not for me.

Honestly this book wasn’t great and it wasn’t horrible. It was just there.
I think the biggest part I struggled with in this book is that yes she had hard times. Loosing her house, getting mugged, getting in a car accident, having an ex basically stock her.
But she also was able to get an apartment without really needing to try, was still making $1000-$1300 a week (that’s my entire 2 week pay check, and yet she was still considered spoiled), she got a job as an assistant to an actress and found love.
It wasn’t a very memorable story by any means but I still did enjoy it.

This was a really good book. I loved seeing Chloe’s glowup through out the book. I wasn’t sure how well I would connect with her at first but I was definitely rooting for her early on. I loved Carter!! He was beyond perfect! Nicole and Vic were both great “villains” I think the only thing I didn’t like was Joey. I felt he was kinda useless for the story, I do wish he had a better friendship role though. Other than that I give this book 4 stars not my favorite from her but damn this author can write and make me love! Lol

loved, loved, loved, LOVED!
As always, Alessandra Torre has done it again!! This is the second book of hers that I've read and have fallen in love with. Although I technically heard it, not read it, thanks to Amazon Audible. Chloe's change throughout the story was obvious and I was rooting for her all throughout...even from page one! And Carter? God. CARRRTTEEERRR.
Hot.
Hot.
Hot.
The narrator was amazing and really kept me invested in this story even though I wasn't physically seeing the pages. But, that did not deter me at all from enjoying Chloe's journey from poor-little-rich-girl to independent at all. Definitely made my list of top faves and I will def be buying the e-Book...maybe even the hardcopy because I just loved it that much.

It’s like if Cher from Clueless lived in NYC and had to learn on her own with no money. Entertaining and full of drama.

This book reminds me of the start of Two Broke Girls, a wealthy young woman cast adrift by her parents arrest for insider trading and learning to make her way, though this was by no means as funny.

It took me a while to figure out where this book was going because unlike typical Contemporary Romances this doesn't shout it out from page five. There are several possible suitors and though the potential drama did feel a bit underused, there is enough there to keep you guessing. While this does have some sexy scenes and banter, this is not a book to read if you want hot sex, it's more 12 rated, and the story is a touch predictable at points, but all in all a good read. Would recommend if you want something fun but won't have you getting aroused in the middle of the bus.

Alessandra Torre FTW! Love, Chloe is like the beautiful love child of a Sex and the City, The Devil Wears Prada, and The Nanny Diaries orgy.

Chloe Madison is having a tough year. She’s a pampered NYC socialite who rapidly descends into the land of commoners after her parents are indicted for insider trading fraud. Left with no home, no diploma, and no money, Chloe pulls up her big girl panties and manages to find a job as a personal assistant to a B-list actress/condom heiress. Too bad Nicole Brantley is such an unreasonable, demanding, inconsiderate, miserable, just-plain-bitchy boss. To make matters worse, her cheating ex-boyfriend won’t leave her alone. At least she’s got her two best friends by her side for support, all her old designer clothes to stay fashionable, and a super hot building super to fantasize over.

I loved Chloe. The girl may have been entitled and lord knows she has the worst parents imaginable, but she’s not an obnoxious snob or a whiner. Her adaptability really appealed to me, and I loved seeing her evolve throughout her year and a half journey of independence.

Chloe’s relationship with Carter is so sweet, with just the right amount of steam. The business with Chloe’s ex-boyfriend went on way too long though and ventured into Annoyingville. However, it’s a minor hiccup in an otherwise charming story.

This book screams fun and flirty. Between the clever chapter titles – “The Benefits of Grape Bubblegum,” “My Middle Name is Classy,” “Cupcakes Heal Most Wounds,” My Penniless Ass is FREE” – and the entertaining Instagram photos, Alessandra Torre has taken a rather familiar storyline and repackaged it into a fresh and highly enjoyable experience.

It was ... neither good nor bad but was a nice one. I just kept on thinking while reading the book if it's really written by Alessandra Torre, because I know she could do better than this.

PROS:
-It's like a train wreck and you couldn't [for the life of you] stop wanting to know how it'll all end up.

CONS:
-Carter & Chloe. Their connection was really strong yet felt lacking since most of the story revolved around Chloe-Vic and Chloe-Nicole and wished there were more of Carter & Chloe.

Did you ever read a book that just made you feel so good? Made you have a dopey smile on your face? Well that was this book for me. Love, Chloe was so entertaining and engaging. I read it from cover to cover in a matter of hours. Housework be d*mned and pizza being ordered for dinner. I totally neglected my life today because I just could not put it down.

If you're in to feisty, smart heroines who rise above this is a book you're going to love, and like me, you won't be able to put it down either. It was humorous. It was unbelievably well written. It was freaking amazeballs! This is one of those books that plays like a movie in your mind.

More on the chick lit side, this light, fantastically fun book is just what I needed after having a blah week. I really hope Alessandra Torre writes more books like this. Because if she does, I'm buying each and every one in digital and print.

A little break from the usual dark, thriller theme of Alessandra Torre. The story is really cute. Very light and sexy at the same time. I also like the ig posts from Chloe. 😂
