This book is hard to define, but beautifully written and somehow compulsive reading, even though not much seems to happen. Grief and the weight of responsibility gives way to a sense of community and purpose, and while there are not many resolutions, it is still a satisfying read.

This was good. Very well written and captured coastal Australia and the nature of a small town particularly well. That being said, it was easy to put down and I wasn't particularly attached to the characters. Not bad overall, but I wouldn't consider it a must-read

My new favorite book. I savored every beautifully written word. I love the philosophy of the labyrinth. Maybe I’ll build my own.
