I was really excited to read this because I love tom kings batman run but damn my heart broke when it said written by Steve Orlando and damn this book is really stupid.
the art is wanky, there is no common sense, and the character dialogue is boring. what I mean by stupidity for example, throughout this book Clayface splits himself into many bodies to warn people to leave their homes but then he has the strength to cover half a building after saying he was gonna faint or something like that. or when Batwoman is in the air with a monster version of Cirque du Soleil himself and falls so high down on the signal and no one gets hurt.
I personally think this was so bad because it was started so early into rebirth and I guess they just were not ready yet.
overall dumb book. don't buy it

Art and story are great, the writing gets hard to follow sometimes but overall enjoyable. The double page spreads are really cool.

Fun little monster mayhem madness. Great artwork, I'm particularly impressed by Riley Rossmo's artwork. A decent distillation of Batman's driving force, but that comes too late after a lot of mayhem and action. Fair utilization of the current Bat-family throughout the series, but there's only so much a bunch of costumed acrobats can do.
