Good team-up/continuation of plot points from the Rebirth arc of 'Batman'. (e-galley from Netgalley)

A true missed opportunity. Rebirth seems interested in having room for crazy silver age style Batman stories, and the concept seems consistent with that. It's ultimately just not very exciting.

3.5/5, rounded up to 4 ‘cause, I dunno, I thought this was really fun! I haven’t read the original so I’m sure it is just re-doing it, and yeah there’s some stupid stuff in here and the story gets a little away from itself but—I dunno, man, I enjoyed it.

Although to be fair part of that may just be because I was so happy to see the Batfamily.

This one reminded me that I will forever be confused by comics. I can’t keep up with all of the characters and plots.

The story was weak. We’ve seen Batman lose partners before and he handles his grief the same way. Where’s the character growth? What’s the point of being surrounded by Nightwing, Duke, Batwoman, Orphan, Spoiler, Clayface, etc. if he’s just going to take on the villain by himself?

Come on. Try something different.

This one's not too spectacular, but at least we see Strange?
