This was really good. I was very curious, and a bit wary when I read the two names on the cover, but these two authors managed to mesh their very different styles together nicely! The relationship moved a bit fast from fucking to love, but sometimes, love'll do that to you, just smack you in the face when you aren't even looking for it.

I've got to say I'm pleasantly surprised about this novella. I thought it was going to be a bit more BDSM than I typically would like. However the kink was mild and it did take a nice surprising, hot turn.

Malcolm is a cocky little shit. He's a cynic hiding behind a veneer so people don't know who he really is. He's on the prowl when he runs into American tourist Owen.

Owen can definitely hold his own and is not going to be pushed around unless he wants to be pushed. His genuineness is what wins Mal over, bringing down his carefully constructed walls and regimen, as these two spend a glorious weekend together.

This was really more a sweet romance which I was totally fine with. I will read the sequel.

I was a little lost through this book, and maybe it's because Malcolm was pretending to be a Dom and a top, but I just wasn't feeling the whole BDSM thing with these two, which also made it difficult to feel any real chemistry. They just seemed to be playing, and I'm fine with people who only play around and aren't really into the scene, but something was just off about these two.

Started out slow for me but I think that's because my mind wasn't committed. But then I got into it and it was great. The connection between Owen and Malcolm was fast but it was written well. I believed. That's what counts.

This was a fabulous book with everything you could want - great characters and dialogue, a sweet romance and perfect sexy scenes ;) I kind of wish the book had gone further - I would have loved to have seen where the characters ended up or learnt more about their past, but that in no way hindered the story or the beautiful romance between Malcolm and Owen. This was the perfect read for today - it put a smile on my face and kept me entertained with every page.

London is my favourite city. Doing tourist shit in London was a great experience which I'd like to repeat. Probably not as great as Owen's, but we can't all be that lucky.

I loved everything about this story - the setting, the characters, the kinks(!), the sweetness, and the ending.
It's sodding perfect.

3.5 stars. The first half was better than the second half, but overall this was quite enjoyable. The chemistry between Owen and Malcolm was lovely, but Malcolm's transformation felt a bit too quick and I didn't really get a good feel for Owen as a character. Hopefully the sequel will fix that.

Really lovely, very character driven short story. Both Owen and Malcolm were a surprise and not what I was expecting. It is wonderful to read a story portraying two men who form a rapid emotional attachment and take a leap of faith to be together.
