I had the same problem with this book that I have with the others in this series where it seems like at times there’s too much unrealistic stuff happening. I enjoyed this book up until about 85% and after that it felt rushed and completely unrealistic. Wow I do still recommend this book to read because that first 85% was amazing and there are still some good parts in the last part of the book. It just was such a letdown to be let down so close to the end.

Perfect book for Queen Hendrix ✨

I really enjoyed the first two books in this series, so I was excited to dive into book three. But honestly, this one just hasn’t hooked me (and I was halfway done). I can’t continue. It almost feels like I’m reading a book from a different author. The spark and connection I felt in the earlier books is missing here.

Hen was such a standout character in books 1 & 2—spunky, outgoing, and impossible not to root for. In this book, though, she just doesn’t shine the same way. I kept waiting for that same energy, but it never really came through. I also really missed Soledad and Yasmin; keeping up with them was one of my favorite parts of the trilogy, and their absence left a gap for me.

Overall, this just wasn’t my cup of tea. I know some readers might connect with it differently, but for me, it didn’t have the magic I was hoping for.
