First off, the blurb makes it sound like this is dual POV with Summer and Miles. It's not - It's in Summer's POV the entire time.

The book goes in a bunch of different directions - It has the mafia, love triangles, a masked hero, undercover agents, so much going on! It was a bit too chaotic and disjointed for me. It didn't make a lot of sense. All that said, I did binge this book in one sitting.

Miles is the vigilante right? But if he is, I'm going to have a hard time suspending my disbelief. He's a D1 athelete, resident advisor, presumably a solid student, and a vigilante? No way someone has that many hours in a day.

Ugh! A cliffhanger!

I am really not a fan of cliffhangers! The book started out normal enough but in the last 20% or so it turned into what I can only describe as a dream. It really felt like one of my running dreams where I’m running, running, running and can’t get away and bad things keep happening, but I just keep running and climbing up each time I get knocked down or hurt. I really like the idea of the love triangle and I am seriously annoyed that this ended in a cliffhanger.

Worst possible writing ever. I can't get through this level of nonsense.

The only reason this gets 3/5 stars is that it was friends-enemies-lovers which is my absolute favorite trope and it is kind of hard to find.

Oddly compelling

With a Superman vibe (or maybe daredevil?) this romance is a mystery wrapped in darkness, with more questions than answers and a past that is creeping ever closer.
