We just LOVE Oliver Jeffers. His stories incorporate so much with so few words and such interesting illustrations. This was a good introduction to his little boy in Lost and Found, which we very much love in our house.

Fun to see how Jeffers got his start ... the well-worn copy of the library book I borrowed held its old prize! :)

Sweet story of a young boy who loves stars and wants one of his own. He tries many ways trying to get one.
Enjoyed the picture of him reading this book to his star.

Another wonderful story from Oliver Jeffers. The only thing missing from this one for me was a supporting character to love as much as the boy.

Fun book with a cute twist--although the ending was rather abrupt.

A cute, imaginative story about a boy who wants a star for his own, so he can be friends with it. The ending was pretty cute, and I was happy. The illustrations were pretty fun, and fit in perfectly with the imaginative story.

This is another brilliant book for children by Oliver Jeffers. I read this to a small group of 5-6 year olds who were absolutely engrossed in the story. The illustrations are beautiful yet again. Highly recommend!

Obviously I'm not the target audience, so perhaps this appeals just right to the children, but to me I found the message and conclusion kind of lacking in execution.
