Let's go on a star hunt! The boy is very imaginative in ways to catch a star, but stars are very difficult to reach.

This story is wonderful addition to Dream Big: READ summer reading program. Afterwards, the storytime listeners could go on a star search of their own.

Reviewed from a library copy.

I think that I may have broken my kids. They have great imaginations but they are also far too practical for their own good. That's what having a scientist for a mum does :P They kept telling me how it is not possible to catch a star because it's too far, it's too hot, it's too big, it's just silly. I had to do a whole song and dance about believing the impossible but they have not asked for this book again since that first read so... ya.
