Literally no atmosphere building and I hated the mmc and fmc. On top of that, so many key details were left unanswered (details which I felt were very important to be answered in the first book) to the point where reading it was just confusing, and there were moments where the author wouldn’t even explain what was going on.

As a Dramione reader, this went above my expectations. The world building is excellent, solid magic system, history and politics intertwining, the mystery of Hearst loyalty, the growing rebellion, the stubbornness of hope, the complication of childhood crushes affecting life-altering adult decisions, I love it all.
