I really enjoyed this one! I would have liked to know more teens/peeps with superpowers and also get to know how some would get those while others don't. But a good book, also about real issues (police peeps not caring if they have the right person or not and being very aggressive, drugsdealing, "tax" aka protection money, threats, and other things). I loved Lolo's family and I loved how despite everything that happens she stays strong, tries to help people, tries to figure out her superpowers. She was a really good and fun MC. I also really liked her best friend, she was so sweet and I loved the bond they had. Also liked Runt and seeing him try to figure out life and where to go and what is the best side. And Lolo's dad was awesome, loved how hard he worked, and also helped others.
The art was also fun, I loved how Lolo's powers were shown.
All in all, very happy I found this book!

There were a couple of plot conveniences throughout and the artwork was relatively basic, but the overall story was generally enjoyable.
