I was intrigued by the male POV and Spencer's inner dialog was pretty entertaining as was his banter with friend-to-love-interest Charlotte. I've shelved this as erotic because there is lots of explicit sex, but I didn't actually find it erotic.
Overall, 3-stars, but I'm bumping to 4-stars because I'm not really a rom-con fan, so it's a tribute to the novel that I finished it.

Perfect for the reading slump I was in: fast paced, to the point, sexy, and funny enough. I enjoyed it!
Spencer is hilarious! Cocky bastard, but likeable enough. 😊

This book is like everything I love in romance wrapped up into a wonderful ball.
Spencer and Charlotte have been best friends and business partners since college, a fake engagement and some casual sex isn't going to ruin that, right?
WRONG
It's going to get messed up in the most beautiful mutual pining, sexy, hilarious way ever and I loved it. This book just confirmed to me that friends-to-lovers is God Tier of tropes and all other tropes cower before it.

I can't tell you which I found sexier...the steamy story or the sense of humor
OK the truth!?!
This story is sexy but better than that it is laugh out loud funny too. I was constantly pestered my kids to tell them what had me cracking up. The snark and banter is pure dynamite.
Spencer is a dream for sure. If only I could get a date!
Hands down most fun I've had in a book in 6 months.

Totally cute rom-com, at times predictable... but that's ok. I love the friends-to-lovers trope ❤️ Part of the Audible Escape catalogue.
