I gotta get my thoughts together after this one...

It's been like a year since I wrote the above, and I have decided to rate this a one star instead of two and add to my nope shelf, because all I remember about this book is how much I did not like it.

I remember thinking that it was written by a misogynistic man, and not because the MC is super unlikable it's literally the writing itself. And don't get me wrong the MC was insufferable.

Just bad.

Strong when the focus is on the recently-deceased Thomas but becomes far less interesting once the POV shifts away from him. I also feel perplexed about
his journey ending vaguely and “off screen”.

This book had a really cool concept but i wish there was more explanation at the end
like they keep talking about 'regrets' but it's never explained what those are
also warning this book has a lot of sex in it

Could not get into the storyline at all. Absolutely loved the plot but did not enjoy the characters...writing...I don't really know.

I read this book at the start of the year and boy do I regret it. Talk about a perfect title though... I can't go heavily into detail as I read this a while ago and didn't find it particularly memorable. However, I will say this book is basically ghost smut above anything else. Yet somehow almost every aspect of this book is underwritten. The author wants you to buy into the fact that their sex is deeply romantic although I can't tell you a single thing that either character liked about each other outside of sexualizing one another incessantly. Anyways he becomes deeply possessive and abusive and then the book ends with zero payoff.

So so disappointed. The book had a lot of potential. The author is obviously talented and writes well, and had a great concept. But it just fell off and got… weird.  The ending was anticlimactic, and the book turned into a strange smut. Also the self insertion of the author as the main character, seems so obvious to me. it’s odd. She just wants ghost sex. Do better.
