This book is so good. I never wanted it to end. I’m obsessed with the characters and the plot and literally everything. It was almost 600 pages and yet that wasn’t enough!!

This was so unique in that each of the three parts read like a different genre. Part one read like a contemporary romance, part two like a coming-of-age, and part three like a historical fiction. I really enjoyed the magical realism element weaved throughout the three parts and loved the connection between them!!

I liked the end, but I wish we were given more from it.

Highly recommend the audiobook for this one as each part has a different narrator.

Overall I liked the book a lot. Getting the persepctive of the three generations made it more impactful for me. Lily was irritating me at times because of her inability to communicate. The genetic engineering part of the story was added an interesting component but didn't feel fully fleshed out to me.
