I hope someday someone will describe my lovemaking as similar to a wildcat and python combined.

This book was a quick read. I think the drawing helped the story along. The story is about how magic was lost in the world and the characters were interesting. I couldn’t get attached to them however. It was a typical fantasy adventure.

Magic as a limited resource (that ran out) is an interesting idea. A good book.

"What if magic were a nonrenewable resource, and we were almost out?"

This book is creative, short, and beautifully illustrated. It has obvious parallels to the environmental movement without being boringly identical, or beating you over the head with it. I deduct one star because some aspects of the book didn't age terribly well (mainly the lone female character who has sex with one of the heroes after knowing him for a few pages).

Reading during my commute to and from UCLA. Neat illustrations.

Not going to lie, I bought it for the illustrations. It was certainly fanciful, and I'm not saying I wasn't entertained, but it felt really rough, almost like he published his first draft.
