Perhaps one of the best written books that I have ever read. It's unimaginable to me that the author was literally dying when he wrote it and rushing to complete it. Anyhow, as usual, I was a hesitant to reader because I thought the topic was too morbid. And it is . And it isn't. Kalanithi grapples with the complexity of living and dying, writing in prose that I didn't think people used anymore. This book won awards, right? Because it sure should have. Highly recommend.

Audiobook. Beautifully written. I’m thankful for the inspiration and comfort this book provides because death is not talked about enough. Highly recommend for a reflective moment in life.

It had a really strong start but then became more about his experience with med-school and not about his experience with cancer. Wasn't what I thought it was going to be and I lost interest.
