OMG after 3 months I am finally done with this book. I enjoyed it so much, but I had to take my time with it to really understand the contents.

But for real

Foda

I think anyone with a brain will realize that capitalism is just the worst, but this book brought the sentiment home through feminist historical analysis. Federici is an excellent scholar and philosopher, and you will not be disappointed reading this. There is so much we don't know about the intentional choices that were made to suppress people in the name of a monetized labor system, and we are still feeling the devious impacts today. If you have ever wondered about the Witch Trials in Europe and America, this book delves into the concept of the "witch" and how it has affected the image of women ever since. I would highly recommend this books to anyone willing to face some shocking history and rethink their places in the world.
