My god does it all make me mad. But it's also a pretty fantastic view at how religion, has been molded and shapes as a weapon to strike at insubordination and revolts in those who simply wanted a life more equal and just.

Super interesting and comfortably easy to understand and follow. Extremely brutal at times because one comes to realize how fundamental social changes (whether one is on board with Federici's conclusion that it is due to the development of capitalism - barring further knowledge, I personally think that it makes a lot of sense but this is quite outside of my comfort zone) have destroyed our relationships with one another. It's also a very impressionable reminder of how trivialized our understanding of witches and the witchhunt is.

I'd easily recommend this to anyone.
