A picture book about growing up. The active child becomes a blur in the race of life, but also stills time. It's a blur, but a wonderful memorable blur.

Reviewed from a library copy.

I'm not even a parent and this book made me want to cry!

The Blur moves through life at a lightning fast pace, but still manages to find ways to freeze time every so often. Told through the perspective of two parents watching their baby grow, this story is sure to melt the hearts of anyone who cares about little ones.

Awe! My mommy heart….so sweet. Great gift for a parent with newborn or one heading off to college. What am I talking about? Everyone would love this.

The artwork is beautiful, but I'm not really sure this is meant for the children as much as it is for the parents. I don't have kids, so I didn't get that bittersweet feeling I'm sure is meant to be evoked from being a parent nor did I feel like a young child would really care that the daughter in the book grew very fast. Maybe a good gift for a parent in your life.

Felt like this is meant more for parents than for kids. 2 stars for kids, 4 stars for parents who will probably shed a tear reading this

Oh, this book! I love it so. It makes me cry and my husband insist he only has something in his eye. This is Parenthood explained and perfected in one little book. Good luck! Perfect for new parents to new empty-nesters.

Excuse me, my vision is a little blurry (pun intended) after reading this :') I think The Blur is geared more towards adults/parents/grandparents/teachers as opposed to kids themselves, but there's no denying this would make an excellent graduation present. Bound to become a classic.

Minh Le and Dan Santat are required reading. Always.

Great book for graduations in lieu of Oh the Places You'll Go.
