Minh Lê and Dan Santat are an incredible team! This one hit my mom heart hard and I felt so much love and appreciation for the story. My children, aged 3, 4, 7, and 8 enjoyed this as well, especially my 8 year old, who adores babies and her younger siblings.

This one took me by surprise. I didn’t think I would like it as much as I did. A great graduation book. I’m glad I picked I read it on whim which was when I was reorganizing the picture book section.

The pacing was perfect to me. Lots of time in the beginning of the story on how blurry the days are and then suddenly time jumps to how blurry the years become. I had an emotional reaction to this one.

This book is more for parents than for kids, but it perfectly illustrates what life is like for many of us who have kids. It is truly a blur!
