I am not a huge romantasy girl, but I loved this. Camilla is such a fucking badass and tbh too good for Envy, I think he'd agree. He is also a really enjoyable hero, though there were times I wanted him to just pull it together. There's a lot going on here - in a good way - in addition to the romance, so the romance isn't necessarily always the central element. Which worked for me, because I was very into the world and the quest and the slow reveal of secrets. A strong fantasy all the way around.

Camilla, though. ✨ 10/10 no notes.

I did enjoy this. It was nice to be back in this world and with the princes. I loved Envy and Camilla.

At the beginning of the book, I felt like I was missing something. I was kind of confused and there was always an element of me feeling like I was missing a piece of the puzzle. Things weren't clear. I know there were many secrets being kept, but it felt a bit beyond that.

I was also left wishing a lot. I wish we got to see more of Camilla painting at the beginning. I wish there were more breadcrumbs. I wish we got more of Kitty and Alexei. This book was long and those pages could have really been put to use.

Fun, lots of tension! I liked this better than Kingdom of the Wicked, I think the author’s writing is improving

Would've been a 5 star read if kerri expanded her vocabulary from "sinful" and "wicked"

I really enjoyed reading this one. I knew when I was reading KotW that Envy intrigued me and needed his own story. I was very into Envy and Camilla’s dynamic as well as the balance between romance, spice, and story — I do feel the book had moments that felt drug out or off with pacing, but all in all, I enjoyed this story a lot, the characters had enough there for me to connect to, and I look forward to future stories of the other princes/sins. The world is definitely interesting as well and I do enjoy the author’s writing.
