I am not a huge romantasy girl, but I loved this. Camilla is such a fucking badass and tbh too good for Envy, I think he'd agree. He is also a really enjoyable hero, though there were times I wanted him to just pull it together. There's a lot going on here - in a good way - in addition to the romance, so the romance isn't necessarily always the central element. Which worked for me, because I was very into the world and the quest and the slow reveal of secrets. A strong fantasy all the way around.

Camilla, though. ✨ 10/10 no notes.
